Katrine De Asis
Katrine is a registered physiotherapist. She is registered to practice in the province of Ontario by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and is an active member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Katrine graduated from the University of Toronto where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Nutritional Sciences and her Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Through these degrees, she has gained immense knowledge about anatomy, biomechanics, exercise physiology, exercise prescription, athletic training and manual therapy, which allows her to tailor her treatments to meet her patients’ specific needs and goals. Katrine values the importance of continued education and has taken post-graduate courses in multiple areas including manual therapy, myofascial release and basic sports physiotherapy taping. Katrine believes that the use of manual therapy, an individualized exercise program and specific education for injury prevention is the optimal combination for successful rehabilitation.
